New China–Europe rail service
KTZ Express, a subsidiary of KTZ, has partnered with China Railway Container Transport (CRCT) to introduce a new container service between China and Europe.
The first train, carrying television components, has departed from Chengdu (China) destined for Łódź (Poland). The route passes through Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Turkey, ensuring freight transport with an estimated transit time of 40 days, as KTZ has reported.
“This route not only expands the transport capabilities of the region but also makes international logistics more flexible, faster and more reliable,” KTZ said. The service further solidifies Kazakhstan’s role as a key transit hub and “strengthens our position on the map of world freight traffic,” KTZ said. (js)
