Name change to unify Transworld’s global presence
Shreyas Shipping and Logistics Limited, an integral player in India’s coastal shipping sector, has rebranded to Transworld Shipping Lines Limited as of 1 October 2024. This change aligns the company with the broader identity of its parent, Transworld Group, aiming to unify its global presence and strengthen brand consistency. The company’s business activities and operations remain however unchanged.
The rebranding reflects a strategic move to combine global shipping solutions under the Transworld name, enhancing synergies and supporting future growth.
Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan, chairman of Transworld Group, emphasised that the rebranding is intended to bolster the company’s global identity while continuing its tradition of service excellence.
Founded in 1988, Shreyas has been a major player in India’s coastal shipping sector and will maintain its focus on innovation, sustainability, and comprehensive shipping solutions as Transworld Shipping Lines Limited. (pb)
