Nagel-Group names COO
Expanding its board of directors, the food logistics provider Nagel-Group appointed Jens Kleiner as chief operating officer in January 2024. His former position was executive director operations.
Before joining Nagel-Group in May 2020, Kleiner held management roles in various companies, including Imperial. In addition to his increased responsibilities as COO, he will now also oversee the company’s foreign subsidiaries.
“Kleiner has done an excellent job under difficult economic conditions. With the regionalisation of the operating units in Germany, he has ensured that the central specialist departments and operations pursue a clear common strategic direction in their cooperation and thus laid the foundation for a successful future,” says Marion Nagel, chairwoman of the Nagel-Group’s board of directors.
