Leipzig forwarder buys thirteen new semitrailers


The Leipzig (Germany)-based company Lamkewitz Schüttgut-Transporte und Tiefbau has been deploying MAN trucks for years and is now renewing its fleet by purchasing thirteen new vehicles. The company recently took delivery of the first eleven MAN TGX 18.500 semitrailers with 500 HP engines.

 

The bright yellow newcomers with hardox trailers will be used mainly for carrying bulk goods. The vehicle fleet of the owner-managed company consist of 30 MAN trucks, of which most are equipped with tipper semitrailers. The fleet also has a few triple-axle and four-axle dumpers, two transporters, one pick-up and a small sweeper. (ben)
