Jetstream and TAM continue cooperation

Täby Air Maintenance (TAM) has delivered its 25th Saab 340 Cargo Conversion, a 340B with msn 336. The aircraft was brought to Jetstream Aviation Capital of Miami, FL which is also launch customer for the new Saab 2000 cargo conversion programme that the Swedish company revealed earlier last month.

The Saab 2000 Cargo will feature six net-divided loading bays, in addition to the current PAX aircraft cargo compartments, where all bays will meet 9G-approval requirements. Total cargo volume will be 55.4 cbm, with a floor loading limit of 730 kg/sqm and a target max payload of 6,622 kg, limited to 7,500 lbs (3,402 kg) for operations under US FAR Part 135.

The first aircraft is planned for conversion Q1/2022 with scheduled completion including obtaining EASA and FAA approval by the end of March. (ah)
