Intermodal train to link Le Havre and Lyon
Delta Rail has expanded its intermodal service in France. The new train connects Le Havre and Lyon with two round trips per week and is routed through Delta Rail's hub in Chalon-sur-Saône (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté) region. It complements Naviland Cargo's intermodal portfolio, bringing the total up to nine trains per week between the Hapora Port Terminal LHTE in Le Havre and the Vénissieux terminal.
Delta Rail trains depart from Le Havre on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from Lyon on Mondays and Wednesdays. Via its hub in Chalon-sur-Saône, Delta Rail also provides train connections to the south of France via FOS/MER and Worms in Germany. (ben)
