Increased frequency for Romania - Turkey link
ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) increases frequency: the carrier is now offering two roundtrips per week between (Romania) and Istanbul (Turkey). This provides fast and high-frequency links between the two economic areas with a competitive transit time of only 72 hours.
With a fixed timetable and an attractive transit time, the transport service supplies a direct link to the Halkali terminal in Istanbul, which is a key hub for goods transports on the southern Silk Road, connecting economic centres in Western Europe with their counterparts in the south and southeast of the continent, says RCG.
