Helsingborg halves rehandles with new TOS

The Port of Helsingborg in Southern Sweden has cut container rehandles by 50% after introducing the N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS) from Kaleris, significantly enhancing terminal efficiency.

As the country’s second-largest container hub, the port now benefits from dynamic yard layout management, digitised berth planning, and deeper operational data insights. Since implementation, Gross Moves Per Hour have increased by 8%, and capacity within the existing area has grown by up to 30%.

CIO Sanjin Redzepagic sees N4 as a key step toward becoming Sweden’s most efficient port by 2035. Kaleris praised the collaboration, calling it a model of successful digital transformation. (ah)
