GXO expands network for Siemens Healthineers
GXO Logistics is strengthening Siemens Healthineers’ forward stocking network with two new distribution centres in New Jersey and California. The expansion enhances medical supply availability, adding next-flight-out options, additional same-day delivery resources, and extending overnight order deadlines for healthcare providers in the Western USA, as the company has reported.
Jorge Guanter, GXO’s president for the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region, stated that “this partnership will make more products accessible and ordering easier, with faster delivery too.” The forward stocking network will increase inventory capacity by over 30%, improving supply resilience.
GXO already operates Siemens Healthineers’ warehouse in New Jersey and will begin operations in California in early 2025. (js)
