Geodis hires Devauges


The global transport and logistics provider Geodis has appointed Jean-Benoît Devauges as group general counsel. He joins the management board, chaired by CEO Marie-Christine Lombard, and the executive board, alongside Lombard and David-Olivier Tarac.

 


Devauges began his career at Lazareff & Associés before joining Renault in 2000. He later held legal roles at Nissan in Japan and the USA before returning to Renault as deputy group general counsel in 2011. He was promoted to general counsel in 2017 and served as board secretary from 2019. Most recently, he was general counsel at Medef, the French business confederation.

 

Devauges is a specialist in international business and EU law, and is admitted to practice in France. Geodis, part of the SNCF Group, operates in 170 countries with 50,000 employees and generated EUR 11.3 billion in revenues in 2024. (ah)
