Fresh leadership for Culina

The Doncaster-based Culina Group has named Liam McElroy as its new group CEO, whilst chief strategy officer Fabian Koehler has been confirmed as deputy group CEO. McElroy starts on 24 February, while Koehler assumes his new role immediately.

McElroy brings extensive leadership experience from GXO, Swissport, Wincanton and DHL with him. Koehler, formerly a senior vice-president at Kuehne + Nagel, will support McElroy in implementing the group’s long-term growth strategy.

In 2024 the Culina Group realigned its business into three divisions, namely chilled, ambient and co-packing. Alastair Isbister, CEO ambient, Steve Winwood, CEO chilled, and Andrew Dawson, CEO co-packing, continue in their roles.

Theo Müller Jr, the chair of the supervisory board, welcomed the appointments, highlighting their role in driving the company’s ongoing transformation. (ah)
