Modalis, a specialist for intermodal logistics solutions, has acquired all the shares of CCFC, an Italian manufacturer of semi-trailers, swap bodies and containers with around 60 employees and a 30,000 sqm factory on an 80,000 sqm site.
The acquisition of CCFS, which will be headed by operational manager Enrico Rossi, will help to create and implement innovative projects, Modalis said.
The plans include a swap body with automatic cover for bulk transport, a swap body with side opening, a modular roller carrier swap body, and swap bodies with sliding tarpaulins and P400 corner-size grab trailers. (ben)
