Duisport pulls out of Belarus

The Port of Duisburg, i.e. its executive board, supervisory board and shareholders, have decided to terminate all business activities in Belarus with immediate effect. The reason given is Belarus' support for the war in Ukraine.

Duisport will specifically say goodbye to two shareholdings: the minority shareholding (0.59%) in the international development company for the Great Stone industrial and logistics park and the stake in Eurasian Rail Gateway CJCS (38.9%), which planned to build and operate a bimodal terminal. Duisport has also closed its office in Minsk. (sh)
