Duisport merges logistics services

Duisport will merge its subsidiaries Duisport Agency, Facility Logistics, and Bohnen Logistik into a new unit dubbed ‘Duisport Logistics & Port Services’ (DLPS). It will offer a wide range of services, including intermodal transport, container storage, contract logistics, road haulage, and technical and terminal services. The merger is expected to be completed by August this year and will go live in the region by January 2024.

DLPS will be led by managing directors Volker Grzybowski, Julian Schneider, and Peter van Ling. Duisport will also set up a “shared services” team to provide targeted support for the new unit in its operations and drive its strategic development. (pb)
