DHL Express: changes in Europe and the Americas

Global express shipping provider DHL Express has appointed new regional CEOs for Europe and the Americas. Mike Parra (left), currently CEO for Americas, will move to a new role as CEO for DHL Express Europe. Andrew Williams (right), currently CEO for DHL Express Canada, will replace Parra as regional CEO Americas. Both appointments will come into effect on 1 January 2024.

Parra has been the Americas CEO since 2016. Under his leadership, the DHL Express division doubled its revenue, added more than 12,000 jobs, and expanded the company’s operational footprint in the region.

Williams was appointed CEO of DHL Express Canada in 2015. During his tenure, the Canadian team doubled in size, and Canada joined the top five countries with the highest inbound volumes worldwide for DHL Express. (cj)
