The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (Aapa) has welcomed Air New Zealand as its newest member, strengthening regional collaboration on sustainability, supply chain recovery, and cross-border travel.
Aapa director-general Subhas Menon stated that “Air New Zealand’s global outlook and expertise will reinforce collective airline advocacy in the Asia-Pacific region.” ANZ CEO Greg Foran added that “joining Aapa allows us to share insights with industry peers to ensure a strong aviation future.”
Aapa represents airlines that account for over one-third of global air traffic, with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Air New Zealand has a well-connected domestic business, connecting customers and cargo to 20 different regions around New Zealand. Internationally, the airline has direct flights to major cities across Australia, Asia, the Pacific Islands and the US. (ah)
