Challenge Group’s first flights to Nairobi
Challenge Group launched its inaugural flights to Nairobi on 2 December. From now on, a B767 freighter aircraft will fly to Kenya’s capital on Mondays and Thursdays. According to the company's press release, this aircraft can store up to 52 t of goods and a volume of 400 cbm.
The decision to launch regular flights to the East African city “is driven by our customer centric approach,” says Or Zak, CCO at Challenge Group. He adds that the new link between Nairobi and the carrier’s hub in Liege will solidify the role of the airport “as a competitive and well-equipped location for handling and distributing perishable cargo.”
With this addition to its network, Challenge Group aims to facilitate global trade with Nairobi, a key market for perishable goods. (js)
