Budweit lifted to the top, Schmitz succeeds
Clark Europe has appointed Holger Schmitz (pictured) as its new director of sales and marketing, succeeding Stefan Budweit, who’ll step into the role of president and CEO.
Schmitz joined Clark in 2023 as business development manager, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s dealer network in the Emea region. His association with Clark dates to the year 2000, when he began his career at the firm's former headquarters in Mülheim. He later held positions at Pramac Lifter and Doosan Industrial Vehicle Europe, leading sales in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe, before returning to Clark Europe in 2023.
In his new role Schmitz will oversee sales operations in the Emea and Duisburg direct sales regions, along with related marketing activities. “With his extensive experience and proven track record in sales, Holger is the ideal person to drive our growth strategy forward,” said Budweit. (ah)
