BUD Cargo City gains another lessee

The Austrian logistics services provider cargo-partner will lease facilities at BUD Cargo City, the forwarding hub at Budapest airport, which will open at the end of 2019.

The hub will comprise 7,500 sqm of storage space as well as offices. The airport is investing EUR 32.6 million in the project. By moving into BUD Cargo City, cargo-partner will expand its storage capacity to 1,200 sqm and its office space to more than 400 sqm.

"We were enthusiastic about BUD Cargo City from the beginning and determined to be one of the first companies to sign a lease agreement. It enables us to offer our partners a better, faster, more cost effective and therefore more competitive service," said Attila Becze, cargo-partner’s regional manager in charge of the company’s operations in Hungary and Romania.
