Broadening business in Belgium (and beyond)

The Belgian postal operator Bpostgroup is acquiring Staci, a multichannel logistics provider, to grow its footprint in Europe and expand its service portfolio.

The group has agreed to purchase 100% of Staci’s shares, gaining a network of over 80 warehouses in Europe and the USA. Staci’s expertise in B2B, e-commerce, and D2C services will add to Bpostgroup’s expansion in Europe. The Belgian market will be a key focus of the project, with the group working to develop new services and add to its last-mile delivery network in the country.

Staci’s businesses will work closely with Bpostgroup’s subsidiaries, Active Ants and Radial, to complement their networks and customer bases. The management team at Staci and its employees will remain at the company to continue the exchange of expertise. It is expected that Staci’s CEO will lead the 3PL business unit once the acquisition is completed. (mk)
