Bengaluru 2021: highest-ever cargo tonnage


Kempegowda Intl Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport) handled an all-time high tonnage of 406,688 t of cargo in 2021, recording a significant growth of 28.6% versus 316,305 t in 2020.

 

International cargo recorded an increase of 32.8% with 265,873 t handled, as compared to 200,209 t in 2020. Domestic cargo grew at 21.3%, a throughput of 140,815 t versus 116,096 t in 2020. USA and Europe continue to be the top trade lanes from BLR Airport.
