Augmenting inter-American connections

CMA CGM is launching two new services in November. An option called Brazex, and a dedicated service named Manaus Shuttle, will connect the US Gulf Coast, Latin America and the Caribbean, complementing the Brazex 1 and Brazex 2 rotations with two dedicated loops for southern and northern Brazil.A direct weekly connection to Cartagena and southern Brazil will improve transit time and schedule reliability to and from southern Brazil and to and from the US Gulf/MX and Caribbean regions. The services will offer options to link up with CMA CGM’s feeder network via Kingston to the west coast of South America, Venezuela and the Caribbean.Other additions to the portfolio will be a dedicated shuttle from Kingston to Manaus and Vila Do Conde, a connection to Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Suape via Santos, and a service from Veracruz to the US east coast, via Kingston and Cartagena. The Brazex service will rotate weekly between New Orleans, Houston, Veracruz, Kingston, Cartagena, Salvador, Santos, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena and Kingston before returning to New Orleans.
