Another vessel for Vietnam–Vladivostok route

Fesco is reinforcing its direct Vietnam line FVDL, a regular service connecting the ports of Vietnam with the port of Vladivostok, which is also a member of Russia’s Fesco Group. A second vessel now operates on the route.

Thus the container service will now be served by two containerships – the ‘A Houou’ with an 850 teu capacity, and the ‘Bal Boan’ with 750 teu. The bi-weekly service covers southern and northern Vietnamese ports, operating along the Vladivostok–Haiphong–Ho Chi Minh City–Vladivostok route. From 1 November the port of Ho Chi Minh City will also act as a transhipment port for containerised cargo from Thailand, Malaysia, India and Pakistan to Russia.

Fesco launched its regular FVDL service in May 2022. Till now, more than 6500 teu have been transported in both directions, Fesco said. (sh)
