Another big step towards green distribution
Unicon, Denmark’s largest producer and supplier of ready-mixed concrete, is placing the biggest private single order to date for electric trucks to run on Danish roads. Deliveries of the eleven Volvo FM electric trucks will start towards the end of 2022.
Unicon and Volvo Trucks have also agreed on a long-term collaboration that aims to develop and implement complete truck and body electric solutions for the concrete industry.
The record Danish order for electric trucks is remarkable, since heavy vehicles for this industry are among the most difficult to electrify. (ben)
