A new head for logistics business
The Austrian Alexander Sollmann became managing director of Solvares Logistics on 1 October this year. In this role, he will oversee the national and international business of the logistics segment of the Solvares Group, a network of software providers for field service management, field sales management and logistics.
Sollmann has decades of experience in digital logistics. He has held executives at Alpega Group, DLH - Deutsche Logistik Holding and in logistics management at Voestalpine.
From 2005 to 2015, as global managing director sales & marketing and later as part of the management board, Sollmann helped to develop the start-up Transporeon into a multinational company on three continents. (cj)
