A fresh start in Spain
Rhenus is adding a new service in Spain to transport the country’s local fresh and frozen food products. Dubbed Rhenus Fresh, the division will build on existing models in Europe, Asia and Latin America to tap into the Spanish fruit and vegetable production market.
With a dedicated team in the country, Rhenus Fresh will look to manage imports and exports of such goods using sea and airfreight services to support Spanish manufacturers with their expansion into further international markets.
“The quality of Spanish perishables is recognised worldwide and with Rhenus Fresh we are making it easier for these products to access new markets,” says Joseba Varela, head of Rhenus Fresh in Spain. (mk)
