321 Precision Conversions earns Easa approval

321 Precision Conversions has announced that the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (Easa) has approved the A321-200 freighter conversion (A321-200PCF) FAA STC ST02716SE. This certification further validates the Precision design and enables the fuel efficient A321-200 freighter conversion to operate on key European routes.

The company has already received Chinese and Malaysian authority approvals for its FAA STC. The fully supported A321-200PCF by providing fourteen A-Code 88 x 125-inch main deck positions and ten ULD positions in the lower hold when equipped.

Capability is increased by decreasing the operating empty weight (OEW) rather than requiring costly weight upgrades. No permanent ballast installation yields a lower fuel burn, lower carbon footprint, and higher standard payload. The A321-200PCF is certified for V2500 and CFM engines of multiple thrust ratings.
