Dabei fokussiert sich der Fahrzeughersteller auf Unternehmen mit kleineren Flotten und der Baubranche. Um die Effizienz und Umweltfreundlichkeit seiner Fahrzeuge zu steigern, setzt Ford Trucks auf die Retarder-Technologie des Unternehmens Driventic, wie der Anbieter von Antriebstechnologien mitteilt.<\/p>\n<h3>Partnerschaft mit Driventic<\/h3>\n<p>Driventic, ein Unternehmen, das aus der Antriebssparte des Technologiekonzerns Voith hervorgegangen ist, ist langj\u00e4hriger Partner von Ford Trucks f\u00fcr die Lieferung von Retardern. Diese Technologie kommt im Ecotorq-Getriebe zum Einsatz, das von Ford selbst entwickelt und produziert wird. Seit 2021 wurden bereits \u00fcber 10.000 Ford Trucks mit den R 115CT-Retardern von Driventic ausgestattet.<\/p>\n<p>Die hydrodynamischen Retarder von Driventic erm\u00f6glichen es nach Herstellerangaben, dass Busse und Lkw etwa 90 Prozent aller Bremsvorg\u00e4nge ohne Verschleiss durchf\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen. Diese Technologie soll die Betriebsbremsen entlasten und somit die Kosten f\u00fcr Ersatzteile und Wartung senken. Zudem w\u00fcrden die Retarder einen Sicherheitsvorteil mit sich bringen: In kritischen Fahrsituationen, wie bei Anpassungsbremsungen auf der Autobahn oder langen Gef\u00e4llestrecken, k\u00f6nnen herk\u00f6mmliche Reibungsbremsen hohe Temperaturen erreichen, was ihre Bremsleistung beeintr\u00e4chtigt.
