September 2026 wird Paul Foreman (r.) die Position des CEO bei PD Ports \u00fcbernehmen. Er folgt auf Frans Calje, der nach fast zehn Jahren an der Spitze des Unternehmens und insgesamt mehr als 18 Jahren bei PD Ports zur\u00fccktritt. Foreman, der derzeit als Chief Operating Officer t\u00e4tig ist, wurde nach einem Auswahlprozess f\u00fcr die neue Rolle ausgew\u00e4hlt.<\/p>\n<p>Der F\u00fchrungswechsel erfolgt zu einem entscheidenden Zeitpunkt f\u00fcr PD Ports, das ambitionierte Pl\u00e4ne verfolgt, um das Wachstum zu beschleunigen, die Dienstleistungen f\u00fcr Kunden zu optimieren und sich an die sich ver\u00e4ndernden Anforderungen der Branche und Technologie anzupassen. Das Unternehmen investiert weiterhin in Expansion und Modernisierung.<\/p>\n<p>PD Ports betreibt Teesport, den gr\u00f6ssten Hafen im Nordosten Englands, und tr\u00e4gt j\u00e4hrlich 1,4 Mrd. GBP zur Wirtschaft von Teesside bei. Das Unternehmen unterst\u00fctzt 22.000 Arbeitspl\u00e4tze in der gesamten Lieferkette und besch\u00e4ftigt direkt mehr als 1.400 Mitarbeiter an elf Standorten im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich. Als gesetzliche Hafenbeh\u00f6rde f\u00fcr den Fluss Tees sorgt PD Ports f\u00fcr die Sicherheit und Befahrbarkeit des Flusses, was zur wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung vieler anderer Unternehmen beitr\u00e4gt.<\/p>\n<p>Calje \u00e4usserte sich zu seinem R\u00fccktritt und betonte: \u201eIch habe immer gesagt, dass ein Zeitraum von zehn Jahren im besten Interesse des Unternehmens w\u00e4re, um eine frische Perspektive und neue Richtung zu gewinnen. Der Zeitpunkt ist daher richtig f\u00fcr einen F\u00fchrungswechsel, um das Wachstum und die Weiterentwicklung von PD Ports voranzutreiben.\u201c Er zeigte sich stolz darauf, ein Unternehmen zu hinterlassen, das sicherer und stabiler ist und auf eine nachhaltige Zukunft blickt.<\/p>\n<p>Becky Lumlock, Operating Partner bei Brookfield Asset Management, das 51% an PD Ports h\u00e4lt, bedankte sich im Namen des Unternehmens bei Calje f\u00fcr seine integrit\u00e4tsgepr\u00e4gte F\u00fchrung und die signifikanten Wachstumsimpulse der letzten zehn Jahre. Sie \u00e4usserte sich zuversichtlich \u00fcber Foremans Ernennung und dessen strategisches Denken, das bereits in der langfristigen Planung des Unternehmens eine zentrale Rolle gespielt hat.<\/p>\n<p>Foreman selbst erkl\u00e4rte:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eIch freue mich und f\u00fchle mich geehrt, die Nachfolge von Frans anzutreten, der in seiner Zeit hier viel erreicht hat. September in eine Rolle als Non-Executive Chairman wechseln.
