Das Projekt, das von Hillwood, einem Unternehmen der Perot-Gruppe, entwickelt wird, umfasst eine Fl\u00e4che von 31.000 m\u00b2 und soll bis 2027 fertiggestellt werden. Es befindet sich etwa 1 km vom Flughafen entfernt und ist als erste Phase des Rockford Logistics Park 20 konzipiert.<\/p>\n<p>Das neue Geb\u00e4ude wird f\u00fcr verschiedene Zwecke genutzt werden k\u00f6nnen, darunter Luftfracht, Logistik, Distribution sowie leichte Fertigung und Montage. Die flexible Gestaltung erm\u00f6glicht es, entweder einen einzelnen Mieter oder mehrere Mieter unterzubringen.<\/p>\n<p>Zack Oakley, der Executive Director des Chicago Rockford International Airport, \u00e4usserte sich zu den Bauarbeiten: \u201eDer Baubeginn ist ein weiteres Zeichen f\u00fcr die kontinuierlichen Investitionen rund um den Flughafen und die wachsende Nachfrage nach Logistikanlagen in Rockford.\u201c Er betonte, dass solche Entwicklungen die Frachtoperationen des Flughafens erg\u00e4nzen, indem sie zus\u00e4tzliche Kapazit\u00e4ten f\u00fcr Unternehmen schaffen, die von der speziellen Frachtinfrastruktur und der Anbindung Rockfords profitieren m\u00f6chten.<\/p>\n<p>Hillwood z\u00e4hlt zu den gr\u00f6ssten Entwicklern von Industrieimmobilien in den USA und hat weltweit mehr als 32 Mio. m\u00b2 an Industrie- und Gewerbefl\u00e4chen realisiert. Don Schoenheider (2.v.l.), Executive Vice President und Marktleiter f\u00fcr den Mittleren Westen bei Hillwood, erkl\u00e4rte: \u201eRockford bietet die Zug\u00e4nglichkeit und das Betriebsumfeld, das Logistiknutzer suchen. Die gezielte Ausrichtung auf Frachtoperationen und der effiziente Zugang zu wichtigen M\u00e4rkten machten es zu einem nat\u00fcrlichen Standort f\u00fcr unsere erste Entwicklung in der Region
