Diese Vertiefung der Partnerschaft, die seit \u00fcber 20 Jahren existiert, zielt darauf ab, Verbesserungen in den Bereichen Treibstoffeffizienz, Ladekapazit\u00e4t, operative Flexibilit\u00e4t und Emissionsreduzierung zu erzielen, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernisierungsprogramm<\/h3>\n<p>Im Rahmen eines Programms werden 18 Schiffe, die langfristig an Maersk verchartert sind, modernisiert. Eine zentrale Massnahme ist die Entwicklung von Nachr\u00fcstungsl\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr vier Schiffe mit einer Kapazit\u00e4t von jeweils 13.000 TEU. Diese Initiative gilt nach Unternehmensangaben als eines der bedeutendsten Modernisierungsprojekte f\u00fcr die gemeinsame Zeitcharterflotte von Seaspan und Maersk.<\/p>\n<p>Die geplanten Nachr\u00fcstungen umfassen mehrere technische Anpassungen. Dazu geh\u00f6rt der Einbau eines Wellengenerators, der den Hilfskraftstoffverbrauch reduzieren soll, sowie eine Leistungsoptimierung des Hauptmotors. Zudem wird ein neuer Hocheffizienzpropeller installiert, und eine Vordrallvorrichtung wird zur Verbesserung der Antriebseffizienz hinzugef\u00fcgt. Ausserdem werden die Schiffe auch auf zuk\u00fcnftige Emissionsvorschriften zur CO\u2082-Abscheidung vorbereitet.
