Cathay Cargo hat die Einf\u00fchrung eines neuen, integrierten intermodalen Netzwerks f\u00fcr verderbliche Waren bekannt gegeben, das Hongkongs Rolle als internationales Frachtzentrum f\u00fcr die Greater Bay Area (GBA) weiter festigt. Mit einem neuen gek\u00fchlten Barge-Service, der Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) direkt mit dem Cathay Cargo Terminal in Dongguan verbindet, sowie einer erweiterten Air-Land Fresh Lane, die \u00fcber die Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao-Br\u00fccke (HZMB) nach Macao f\u00fchrt, profitieren Versender von einer Vielzahl an Transportm\u00f6glichkeiten und einer verbesserten K\u00fchlkette.<\/p>\n

Erweiterung der Transportm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr verderbliche Waren<\/h3>\n

James Evans, General Manager Cargo Commercial bei Cathay, erkl\u00e4rte, dass die GBA ein wichtiger Wachstumsmarkt f\u00fcr hochwertige verderbliche Waren sei. \u201eWir haben genau auf die Bed\u00fcrfnisse unserer Kunden geh\u00f6rt und die Konnektivit\u00e4t sowie die Servicequalit\u00e4t an jedem Ber\u00fchrungspunkt verbessert. Mit drei nun vollst\u00e4ndig operativen intermodalen Routen, die jeweils unterschiedliche Vorteile in Bezug auf Geschwindigkeit, Kosten und Flexibilit\u00e4t bieten, sind wir bestrebt, unser Netzwerk weiter auszubauen, w\u00e4hrend die Nachfrage w\u00e4chst\u201c, so Evans.<\/p>\n

Der neue Barge-Service stellt die erste kommerzielle Luft-See-Transportl\u00f6sung f\u00fcr gek\u00fchlte verderbliche Waren aus Hongkong in die GBA dar. Nach erfolgreichen Tests zu Beginn des Jahres 2026 ist der Service nun vollst\u00e4ndig in Betrieb. Die Sendungen werden in der Originalverpackung verladen, was die Integrit\u00e4t der Verpackung bewahrt und das Risiko von Handhabungsfehlern minimiert. Die Barge f\u00e4hrt direkt zum Cathay Cargo Terminal in Dongguan, wo die Empf\u00e4nger die Waren aus einem speziellen K\u00fchlraum am Pier abholen k\u00f6nnen. Im Gegensatz zu festen Flugpl\u00e4nen bietet der Barge-Service flexible Abfahrtszeiten, was besonders f\u00fcr Sendungen von Vorteil ist, bei denen Kosteneffizienz wichtiger ist als Geschwindigkeit.<\/p>\n

Schnelle Lieferung nach Macao<\/h3>\n

Die Erweiterung der Air-Land Fresh Lane nach Macao erm\u00f6glicht es, verderbliche Waren in nur vier Stunden von HKIA nach Macao zu transportieren, einschliesslich aller Zoll- und Quarant\u00e4neverfahren<\/a>. Die Sendungen werden von den Hongkonger Zollbeh\u00f6rden vorab genehmigt und mit einem anerkannten Siegel gesichert, sodass sie an der Landgrenze in der Regel nicht erneut \u00fcberpr\u00fcft werden m\u00fcssen. Dies reduziert eine bedeutende Quelle von Verz\u00f6gerungen f\u00fcr zeitkritische Sendungen. Der Transferterminal ist rund um die Uhr ge\u00f6ffnet und die gek\u00fchlten Lkw gew\u00e4hrleisten die durchgehende K\u00fchlkette vom Flugzeug bis zur Haust\u00fcr.<\/p>\n

Alle drei Routen operieren unter einem einzigen Luftfrachtbrief innerhalb des Cathay Cargo-Leistungsspektrums, unterst\u00fctzt durch die IATA CEIV Fresh-Zertifizierung, die den Versendern eine nahtlose, durchg\u00e4ngige K\u00fchlkette garantiert. Jede Route ist darauf ausgelegt, spezifische Bed\u00fcrfnisse der Versender zu adressieren:<\/p>\n

– **Air-Air**: Bietet Kapazit\u00e4t in der Unterflur f\u00fcr bis zu drei t\u00e4gliche Passagierfl\u00fcge zwischen Hongkong und Guangzhou f\u00fcr zeitkritische Fracht.
\n– **Air-Land**: Kaltketten-Lkw-Service \u00fcber die HZMB nach Zhuhai und Macao mit direkter Lieferung an die Kunden.
\n– **Air-Sea**: Eine neue gek\u00fchlte Verbindung nach Dongguan, die eine kosteneffiziente und zeitlich flexible Alternative f\u00fcr weniger zeitkritische Sendungen bietet.<\/p>\n
