Mit dieser neuen Infrastruktur kann die Reederei ihre F\u00e4hren k\u00fcnftig auf beiden Seiten des Fehmarnbelts mit Landstrom versorgen, wie sie mitteilt. Insgesamt wurden 11 Kilometer Stromkabel vom Umspannwerk in Burg bis zum F\u00e4hrhafen verlegt, um die notwendige Anschlusskapazit\u00e4t von 15 MW zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Installation des Ladeturms ist nun abgeschlossen und in Betrieb genommen worden. Damit ist Puttgarden nach Angaben von Scandilines bereit, die F\u00e4hren des Unternehmens mit Strom zu versorgen. Bereits seit M\u00e4rz ist ein \u00e4hnlicher Anschluss im Hafen von R\u00f8dby in Betrieb. Dieser wurde zusammen mit der Indienststellung der Frachtf\u00e4hre &#8222;The Baltic Whale&#8220; auf der Route Puttgarden-R\u00f8dby eingef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;The Baltic Whale&#8220; z\u00e4hlt laut Scandilines zu den gr\u00f6ssten F\u00e4hren weltweit, die ausschliesslich mit Landstrom betrieben werden k\u00f6nnen. Durch die M\u00f6glichkeit, die F\u00e4hre sowohl in R\u00f8dby als auch in Puttgarden zu laden, k\u00f6nne die Ladezeit in jedem Hafen auf 12 bis 15 Minuten reduziert werden. Dies erm\u00f6glicht Scandlines, die Abfahrten der F\u00e4hre von beiden H\u00e4fen zu erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scandlines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
