Laut einer Mitteilung von EmissionLink, einem integrierten Emissionsmanagementdienst, sind jedoch klare Leitlinien erforderlich, um die praktische Umsetzung dieser Massnahmen zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.<\/p>\n<h3>Komplexit\u00e4t der Regulierungen<\/h3>\n<p>Die Schifffahrt sieht sich gem\u00e4ss dem Unternehmen bereits einem komplexen regulatorischen Umfeld gegen\u00fcber: Mit dem Inkrafttreten des EU-Emissionshandelssystems (EU ETS) und der Initiative FuelEU Maritime sowie den Bestrebungen der Internationalen Seeschifffahrtsorganisation (IMO) zur Einf\u00fchrung eines globalen Netto-Null-Rahmens wird die Situation noch komplizierter. Jedes dieser Systeme hat unterschiedliche Anforderungen, Zeitpl\u00e4ne und Berechnungsmethoden. EmissionLink weist darauf hin, dass ohne detaillierte Leitlinien die Vermeidung doppelter CO\u2082-Kosten eine Herausforderung darstellt.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Schiff, das im europ\u00e4ischen Handel t\u00e4tig ist, kann gleichzeitig den Regelungen des EU ETS, den Anforderungen von FuelEU Maritime und den zuk\u00fcnftigen CO\u2082-Vorgaben der IMO unterliegen. Dabei sind die Verpflichtungen nicht immer klar zugeordnet, und die Berechnung der Emissionsdaten erfolgt nicht einheitlich, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt. Dies k\u00f6nne dazu f\u00fchren, dass Schiffseignende nicht nur f\u00fcr dieselben Emissionen doppelt zahlen, sondern auch mit mehrfachen Meldungen, doppelten Berechnungen und parallelen Compliance-Prozessen konfrontiert werden.<\/p>\n<h3>Notwendigkeit pr\u00e4ziser Emissionsdaten<\/h3>\n<p>Die Bedeutung genauer und auditierbarer Emissionsdaten nimmt laut EmissionLink in diesem Kontext zu. Das Unternehmen betont jedoch, dass Daten allein nicht ausreichen. Eigent\u00fcmer und Betreibende m\u00fcssten auch \u00fcber das Fachwissen verf\u00fcgen, um diese Daten in den verschiedenen regulatorischen Systemen zu interpretieren und kommerzielle Entscheidungen zu treffen.
