GFS, mit Sitz in Dubai, ist die viertgr\u00f6sste Containerzubringer-Schiffsgesellschaft weltweit nach Kapazit\u00e4t, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt.<\/p>\n<p>Im Februar 2024 erwarb AD Ports Group zun\u00e4chst 51 % an GFS und hatte eine Call-Option, um ihren Anteil bis Dezember 2026 zu erh\u00f6hen. Diese Option wurde nun ausge\u00fcbt, wobei der Gesamtwert der Transaktion 3,67 Milliarden AED (1 Milliarde USD) betr\u00e4gt. GFS gelte als einer der strategisch wichtigsten Verm\u00f6genswerte der Gruppe. In einer Zeit maritimer St\u00f6rungen habe GFS die Handelsverbindungen aufrechterhalten und ausgebaut, w\u00e4hrend andere Betreibende sich zur\u00fcckgezogen h\u00e4tten. Dies hat es erm\u00f6glicht, den ununterbrochenen Frachtfluss f\u00fcr Kundschaft in der gesamten Golf-Kooperationsrat-Region (GCC) sicherzustellen.
