Diese Investition in H\u00f6he von 5,4 Millionen Pfund zielt darauf ab, die Infrastruktur des Hafens zu verbessern und eine gr\u00f6ssere Auswahl an Bulk- und Breakbulk-G\u00fctern verarbeiten zu k\u00f6nnen, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt.<\/p>\n<h3>Erweiterung der Kapazit\u00e4ten<\/h3>\n<p>Der neue Kran erg\u00e4nzt zwei bereits im Jahr 2023 eingef\u00fchrte Modelle, die zusammen eine Investition von 8,6 Millionen Pfund darstellten. Mit der neuen Ausstattung kann Teesport eine breitere Palette an Sch\u00fcttg\u00fctern verarbeiten, was die F\u00e4higkeit zur Emissionssenkung und zur Erh\u00f6hung der Entladegeschwindigkeiten verbessern soll. Diese Massnahmen sollen es PD Ports nach eigenen Angaben erm\u00f6glichen, flexibler auf die Anforderungen der Kundschaft zu reagieren.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich zu dem Kran hat PD Ports auch in Greifer investiert, die eine pr\u00e4zisere Anpassung an unterschiedliche Ladungen und Bedingungen erm\u00f6glichen sollen. Ein neu entwickelter Greifer f\u00fcr Schrottmetall erh\u00f6ht gem\u00e4ss dem Unternehmen die Handhabungskapazit\u00e4t von 7,5 Kubikmetern auf 17 Kubikmeter pro Einheit. Dieser Greifer ist ausserdem mit Hebepunkten ausgestattet, die den Transport von Land zu Schiff ohne Umr\u00fcstung der Ausr\u00fcstung erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n<p>Diese j\u00fcngsten Entwicklungen sind Teil eines kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprogramms, das seit 2016 in Teesport umgesetzt wird.
