Juni 2026 Luftfrachtcharterfl\u00fcge nach Guyana durch. Dies wurde nach einem Treffen zwischen Dr. Irfaan Ali, dem Staatspr\u00e4sidenten des s\u00fcdamerikanischen Landes, und F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4ften von Cargojet Airways in Kanada bekannt gegeben. Guyanas Minister f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Versorgungsleistungen und Luftfahrt, Hon. Deodat Indar, traf sich zudem mit Vertretern von DHL, die Cargojet Airways beauftragt haben, um die neuen Dienstleistungen zu koordinieren.<\/p>\n<p>Die w\u00f6chentlichen Fl\u00fcge werden die Route Miami (MIA) \u2013 Caracas, Venezuela (CCS) \u2013 Georgetown (GEO) \u2013 Medellin, Kolumbien (MDE) \u2013 Miami (MIA) bedienen und sind speziell f\u00fcr DHL Express USA vorgesehen. Minister Indar gratulierte den F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4ften von DHL, Maurice John und Xavier Cerruto, zur Einf\u00fchrung des neuen Services.<\/p>\n<p>Der Minister wies darauf hin, dass die kanadische Frachtfluglinie die Chancen in Guyana nutzt, die sich aus dem signifikanten Wachstum im internationalen Luftfrachtverkehr seit 2020 ergeben. Dieses Wachstum spiegelt die sich entwickelnde Wirtschaft des Landes, die steigende Handelsaktivit\u00e4t und die wachsende internationale Anbindung wider.<\/p>\n<p>Die Luftfrachtvolumina in Guyana sind von 7600 t im Jahr 2020 auf 14.400 t im Jahr 2025 gestiegen, was einem Anstieg von 88,5 % \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von f\u00fcnf Jahren entspricht. Dieser Anstieg ist vor allem auf die Einfuhr von Industrieausr\u00fcstung und -materialien zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren, die den schnell wachsenden \u00d6l- und Gassektor des Landes unterst\u00fctzen. Zudem spielt der anhaltende Anstieg des E-Commerce und die Nachfrage nach Luftfrachtleistungen eine entscheidende Rolle.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 2026 setzt sich der Aufw\u00e4rtstrend fort, mit einem weiteren Anstieg des Frachtvolumens um 21% im bisherigen Jahresverlauf. Dies unterstreicht die zunehmend wichtige Rolle der Luftfracht f\u00fcr die nationale Entwicklung, den Handel und die Gesch\u00e4ftst\u00e4tigkeit in Guyana.<\/p>\n<p>Der Sektor profitiert auch von der Pr\u00e4senz und Expansion internationaler Frachtanbieter, die die Luftfrachtkapazit\u00e4ten erh\u00f6ht und Guyanas Zugang zu regionalen und globalen M\u00e4rkten gest\u00e4rkt haben.
