Im Rahmen einer Demonstration pr\u00e4sentierten die Hafenbeh\u00f6rde Rotterdam und Partner des europ\u00e4ischen Projekts MAGPIE, wie ein Binnenschiff selbstst\u00e4ndig zwischen zwei Terminals in einem stark frequentierten Hafen navigieren kann. Das Schiff bew\u00e4ltigte die Herausforderung, sicher unter regul\u00e4rem Schiffsverkehr zu fahren.<\/p>\n<p>Das Binnenschiff <em>MS Letitia<\/em>, das zur HTS Group geh\u00f6rt, startete von Amaliahaven auf der Maasvlakte und fuhr \u00fcber den Europoort und die Nieuwe Waterweg bis zum Waalhaven in Rotterdam. W\u00e4hrend der Demonstration operierte die konventionell angetriebene <em>MS Letitia<\/em> autonom. Das Schiff f\u00fchrte verschiedene Man\u00f6ver durch, darunter das Ablegen, das Fahren durch den Hafen und entlang des Flusses sowie das Anlegen, alles ohne menschliches Eingreifen. Gleichzeitig \u00fcberwachte das System kontinuierlich seine Umgebung, erkannte andere Schiffe und umging diese sicher, wobei es die Gegebenheiten ber\u00fccksichtigte. Der Kapit\u00e4n bleibt jedoch letztlich verantwortlich und kann jederzeit eingreifen, w\u00e4hrend das System die Navigation und Entscheidungsfindung unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n<h3>Notwendigkeit der Forschung im autonomen Schiffsverkehr<\/h3>\n<p>Oscar van Veen, Direktor f\u00fcr Innovation bei der Hafenbeh\u00f6rde Rotterdam, erkl\u00e4rte:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eAutonomes Fahren erm\u00f6glicht neue Logistikkonzepte, die die Flexibilit\u00e4t, Effizienz und Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit der Binnenschifffahrt verbessern. Diese ist ein wichtiger Transportweg f\u00fcr den Hinterlandverkehr des Hafens von Rotterdam. Container, Sch\u00fcttg\u00fcter und Fl\u00fcssigkeiten, die \u00fcber Binnenwasserstrassen transportiert werden, entlasten das Strassennetz und werden energieeffizienter bewegt als auf der Strasse. Angesichts des Wachstums des Frachtaufkommens ist es entscheidend, dass die Binnenschifffahrt ihren Anteil am Frachttransport beibeh\u00e4lt und ausbaut. Autonomes Fahren k\u00f6nnte dabei eine Rolle spielen.\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Die Zukunft der smarten H\u00e4fen<\/h3>\n<p>Europa sieht sich grossen Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit der Energiewende, der industriellen Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit, den Klimazielen und der strategischen Resilienz gegen\u00fcber. H\u00e4fen spielen eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle als Standorte, an denen Innovationen entwickelt und praktisch angewendet werden. Das MAGPIE-Projekt wurde ins Leben gerufen, um diese Entwicklung zu beschleunigen.<\/p>\n<p>Der autonome Schiffsverkehr ist eines von zehn Demonstrationsprojekten innerhalb von MAGPIE. Diese Demonstratoren in den Bereichen maritime, Binnenschifffahrt, Schienen- und Strassenverkehr bieten praktische Einblicke, die H\u00e4fen sofort umsetzen k\u00f6nnen, um den \u00dcbergang zu umweltfreundlicheren Betriebsabl\u00e4ufen zu unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n<h3>Umsetzung von Innovationen in die Praxis<\/h3>\n<p>Die Projektpartner Alphatron Marine, Argonics und Argonav werden Elemente dieser Demonstration in ihre Assistenzprodukte f\u00fcr Binnenschiffe integrieren. Der argoPositionPilot ist bereits f\u00fcr Schiffe mit festem Propeller und Ruder verf\u00fcgbar, w\u00e4hrend der argoRadarPilot die Absichten anzeigen und \u00fcber eine Kollisionsvermeidung verf\u00fcgen wird.<\/p>\n<p>MAGPIE (sMArt Green Ports as Integrated Efficient multimodal hubs) ist ein europ\u00e4isches Innovationsprojekt, das darauf abzielt, den \u00dcbergang zu klimaneutralen H\u00e4fen zu beschleunigen. Koordiniert von der Hafenbeh\u00f6rde Rotterdam und mitfinanziert von der Europ\u00e4ischen Union, bringt MAGPIE 45 Partner zusammen, um Innovationen in den Bereichen saubere Energie, Digitalisierung und nachhaltige Logistik zu entwickeln, zu testen und zu skalieren.
