Es plant, die Emissionsreduktionsziele der International Maritime Organization (IMO) und der Europ\u00e4ischen Union (EU) bis 2030 zu \u00fcbertreffen. Dies soll durch die Einf\u00fchrung von BioLNG unterst\u00fctzt werden, die die Umweltleistung der Flotte weiter steigern soll.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 2016 lieferte UECC die ersten beiden Dual-Fuel-LNG-Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs), &#8222;Auto Eco&#8220; und &#8222;Auto Energy&#8220;, aus. Diese Schiffe, die in der chinesischen NACKS-Werft gebaut wurden, setzten nach Angaben von UECC neue Standards f\u00fcr umweltfreundlichen Seetransport im europ\u00e4ischen Kurzsee-RoRo-Handel. In den folgenden Jahren erweiterte UECC seine Flotte um drei weitere Mehrkraftstoff-LNG-Batterie-Hybrid-PCTCs, die 2021 in Betrieb genommen wurden. Diese Neubauten, &#8222;Auto Achieve&#8220;, &#8222;Auto Aspire&#8220; und &#8222;Auto Advance&#8220;, wurden in der Jiangnan-Werft gefertigt.<\/p>\n<h3>Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie und zuk\u00fcnftige Investitionen<\/h3>\n<p>Im Jahr 2028 ist die Lieferung von vier weiteren Mehrkraftstoff-LNG-Batterie-Hybrid-PCTCs aus der China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Nanjing geplant. Das Unternehmen verfolgt nach eigenen Angaben eine Strategie, die die Integration von LNG-Technologie mit Energieeffizienzmerkmalen umfasst, um Emissionseinsparungen zu erzielen und die Netto-Null-Ziele zu erreichen.<\/p>\n<p>Laut Glenn Edvardsen, CEO von UECC, hat das Unternehmen durch proaktive Massnahmen in den letzten zehn Jahren den CO\u2082-Fussabdruck seiner Abl\u00e4ufe kontinuierlich reduziert. Dies habe sich als Wettbewerbsvorteil erwiesen, insbesondere seit der Einf\u00fchrung der CO\u2082-Bepreisungsregulierung. Die Neubauinvestitionen h\u00e4tten auch dazu beigetragen, die Exposition gegen\u00fcber dem EU-Emissionshandelssystem (EU ETS) zu verringern und die Flotte mit einem Compliance-\u00dcberschuss unter FuelEU Maritime zu betreiben. Dies erm\u00f6glicht es UECC, sowohl Zuschl\u00e4ge zu vermeiden als auch Einnahmepotenziale durch Pooling zu schaffen.<\/p>\n<h3>Fortschritte bei der Emissionsreduktion<\/h3>\n<p>UECC hat sich nach eigenen Angaben das Ziel gesetzt, die Emissionen bis 2030 um 45 % im Vergleich zu 2014 zu reduzieren, was etwa 186.600 t CO\u2082 entspricht. Im vergangenen Jahr verzeichnete das Unternehmen eine Reduktion von fast 154.500 t CO\u2082, was eine Verbesserung im Vergleich zu den 3.200 t im Jahr 2017 darstellt. Zus\u00e4tzlich hat UECC die Entwicklung eines Bunkernetzwerks vorangetrieben, um die Nachfrage nach BioLNG zu f\u00f6rdern. Ein entsprechendes Lieferabkommen mit Titan Clean Fuels f\u00fcr die LBM-Betankung im Hafen von Rotterdam wurde unterzeichnet, um das Haupt-Nord-S\u00fcd-Handelsnetz des Unternehmens unter dem Motto \u201eSail for Change\u201c zu bedienen.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8222;Wir haben die LNG-Technologie und die breite Verf\u00fcgbarkeit des Kraftstoffs effektiv genutzt , um diese bahnbrechende
