In Zusammenarbeit mit der Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH wird die Ed. Z\u00fcblin AG, eine Tochtergesellschaft von STRABAG, das Projekt im Auftrag des Wasserstra\u00dfen-Neubauamts Aschaffenburg (WNA) umsetzen. Das Auftragsvolumen bel\u00e4uft sich auf etwa 380 Mio. EUR, wobei STRABAG einen Anteil von 90% \u00fcbernimmt.<\/p>\n<h3>Wichtiger Schritt f\u00fcr die Wasserstrasseninfrastruktur<\/h3>\n<p>Die Schleuse Erlangen, die seit den 1970er-Jahren in Betrieb ist, weist einen baulichen Zustand auf, der eine Sanierung unm\u00f6glich macht. Daher wird ein Neubau erforderlich, der rund 300 m n\u00f6rdlich der bestehenden Schleuse errichtet wird. Der Neubau wird in Massivbauweise ausgef\u00fchrt und soll mit einer Breite von 12,50 m und einer L\u00e4nge von 190 m realisiert werden. Ein zentrales Ziel des Projekts ist die Minimierung von Fugen, um die Langlebigkeit der Schleuse zu erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n<p>Das Projekt umfasst den gesamten Schleusenkomplex, einschliesslich Einlaufbauwerk, Oberhaupt, Schleusenkammer, Auslaufbauwerk sowie seitlich angeordneten Sparbecken. Diese Sparbecken sind so geplant, dass bei jedem Schleusungsvorgang etwa 60% Wasser eingespart werden k\u00f6nnen. Zudem wird ein Leerschuss zur Wasserbewirtschaftung des Main-Donau-Kanals eingerichtet, der es erm\u00f6glicht, Wasser parallel an der Schleuse vorbeizuleiten.<\/p>\n<h3>Fortlaufender Betrieb w\u00e4hrend der Bauzeit<\/h3>\n<p>Die Bauarbeiten werden bis 2033 andauern, wobei der Main-Donau-Kanal w\u00e4hrend der gesamten Bauzeit uneingeschr\u00e4nkt in Betrieb bleibt. Erst nach der Fertigstellung des Neubaus wird die alte Schleuse stillgelegt. Dies gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass die wichtige Verkehrsader f\u00fcr die Binnenschifffahrt durchgehend aufrechterhalten bleibt.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00f6rg R\u00f6sler, Mitglied des Vorstandes der STRABAG SE f\u00fcr das Segment Nord + West, betont die Bedeutung des Projekts: \u201eDer erneute Zuschlag f\u00fcr ein Grossprojekt im Bereich der Wasserstrassen unterstreicht unsere starke Position in diesem strategisch wichtigen Infrastruktursektor.\u201c Der Ersatzneubau der Schleuse Erlangen wird als ein wichtiger Beitrag zur Modernisierung der europ\u00e4ischen Wasserstrassen angesehen.<\/p>\n<p>Wasserstrassen spielen eine zentrale Rolle f\u00fcr den Transport grosser Warenmengen in Deutschland und Europa. Sie unterst\u00fctzen die Wirtschaft, indem sie wichtige Industrie- und Handelsregionen miteinander verbinden und die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit f\u00f6rdern. Der Investitionsbedarf in die Ert\u00fcchtigung dieser Infrastruktur ist hoch, und mit den Arbeiten an der Schleuse Erlangen und, seit 2024, der nur wenige Kilometer entfernten Schleuse Kriegenbrunn wird ein wesentlicher Schritt in Richtung Zukunftsf\u00e4higkeit der Wasserstrasse gesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.strabag.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
