Januar 2026 wurden \u00fcber eine Million kg schottischer Lachs exportiert. Dieser Erfolg ist das Ergebnis der im vergangenen September eingef\u00fchrten Exportdienstleistung f\u00fcr Meeresfr\u00fcchte von Schottland nach China, die durch umfangreiche Investitionen in neue Ausr\u00fcstungen und temperaturkontrollierte Einrichtungen unterst\u00fctzt wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Die Exportoperationen am Flughafen umfassen hochvolumige Metalldetektoren sowie Systeme zur Temperatur\u00fcberwachung und -verfolgung. Zudem stehen K\u00fchlkapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr 87 t Fisch zur Verf\u00fcgung, um die Qualit\u00e4t der zeitkritischen Exporte zu gew\u00e4hrleisten. Ian Forgie, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer des Glasgow Prestwick Airports, betont die Bedeutung dieser Entwicklung f\u00fcr den Flughafen und den schottischen Meeresfr\u00fcchte-Sektor. \u201eEs zeigt, dass die Exporteure den neuen Service in grossem Umfang nutzen und dass unsere Investitionen in K\u00fchlkettenanlagen und spezialisiertes Personal den Produzenten einen schnelleren und stabileren Zugang zum Markt erm\u00f6glichen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Forgie.<\/p>\n<p>Das Erreichen dieses Exportvolumens f\u00e4llt in eine Phase des anhaltenden Wachstums im Frachtbereich des Flughafens, das durch neue, regelm\u00e4ssige Frachtkapazit\u00e4ten unterst\u00fctzt wird. So hat <a href=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/2026\/03\/16\/air-china-cargo-operates-daily-flights-from-prestwick-to-chengdu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Air China Cargo<\/a> im M\u00e4rz die Frequenz seiner Fl\u00fcge von Prestwick nach Chengdu von vier auf t\u00e4glich erh\u00f6ht, wodurch die Anzahl der direkten Frachtfl\u00fcge zwischen Prestwick und dem chinesischen Festland auf 15 gestiegen ist. Aktuell werden w\u00f6chentlich elf Fl\u00fcge von Air China Cargo und vier von China Southern Logistics durchgef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich hat <a
