September 2026 vollzogen wird. Diese Entscheidung, die mit fast 100% Zustimmung der Aktion\u00e4re angenommen wurde, markiert einen entscheidenden Schritt in der Neustrukturierung des Unternehmens im Rahmen der Strategie 2030, die auf nachhaltiges Wachstum abzielt, und kostet laut CEO Tobias Meyer rund 37 Mio. EUR.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eIn den vergangenen Jahrzehnten hat sich unser Unternehmen von der ehemaligen Deutschen Bundespost zu einem weltweit f\u00fchrenden Logistikkonzern entwickelt. Es ist \u00fcberf\u00e4llig, die historisch gewachsene Konzernstruktur anzupassen\u201c, so Meyer. K\u00fcnftig wird der Name Deutsche Post AG nur noch f\u00fcr die neu gegr\u00fcndete Tochtergesellschaft verwendet, die das Deutschlandgesch\u00e4ft, insbesondere den Transport von Briefen und Paketen, verantwortet.<\/p>\n<p>Mit diesem Schritt wird die b\u00f6rsennotierte Deutsche Post AG, die einst als Nachfolgerin der Bundespost entstand, in ihrer Bedeutung reduziert. Nur noch etwa ein F\u00fcnftel des Gesch\u00e4fts entf\u00e4llt auf das traditionelle Postgesch\u00e4ft, w\u00e4hrend der Grossteil auf globale Bereiche wie Express- und Frachtgesch\u00e4fte entf\u00e4llt.
