Laut der aktuellen Bilanz der \u00d6sterreichischen Bundesbahnen (\u00d6BB) nutzten insgesamt 559 Millionen Fahrg\u00e4ste die Busse und Z\u00fcge des Unternehmens, was einem Anstieg von 1,4 % im Vergleich zum Vorjahr entspricht. Die neue Koralmbahn, die Ende 2025 in Betrieb genommen wurde, zieht t\u00e4glich etwa 7.000 Fahrg\u00e4ste an, wie das Unternehmen mitteilt.<\/p>\n<h3>Finanzielle Ergebnisse und Herausforderungen<\/h3>\n<p>Die Gesamtertr\u00e4ge der \u00d6BB stiegen um 8 %, w\u00e4hrend das Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT) um 4 % zulegte. Dennoch sank das Ergebnis vor Steuern (EBT) um 40 % auf 68,1 Millionen Euro. Der G\u00fcterverkehr erf\u00e4hrt gem\u00e4ss dem Unternehmen eine r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufige Nachfrage aufgrund der Industrierezession. Die Transportleistung in diesem Sektor fiel um 4 % auf 26,2 Milliarden Nettotonnenkilometer und er verzeichnete ein negatives Ergebnis von -135,5 Millionen Euro. Die \u00d6BB haben nach eigenen Angaben Massnahmen eingeleitet, um die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit im G\u00fcterverkehr zu erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n<p>Andreas Matth\u00e4 (abgebildet links), CEO der \u00d6BB, \u00e4u\u00dferte sich zu den Ergebnissen: \u201eIn Anbetracht der schwierigen Wirtschaftslage haben wir uns mit dem Ergebnis 2025 doch wacker geschlagen.
