Zwei Varianten f\u00fcr Schiffe mit 60\u2019000 &#8211; 65\u2019000 DWT erhielten nun eine \u00abapproval in principle\u00bb (aip) von ClassNK.<\/p>\n<p>Die Konzepte setzen auf Rotorsegel der neuesten Generation, mit 3,5 m Durchmesser und 24,5 m H\u00f6he. Eine Ausf\u00fchrung sieht ein einzelnes Segel auf dem Vorschiff vor, die zweite nutzt ein Schienensystem zur Installation von bis zu drei Rotorsegeln an Deck. Ziel ist es, Einbauprozesse zu vereinfachen und Einsparpotenziale beim Treibstoff zu erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Entwicklung baut auf Erfahrungen fr\u00fcherer Projekte auf, darunter die erste Installation auf einem Bulkcarrier im Jahr 2018.
