Dies entspreche einer Verdopplung im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Die deutsche Reederei Hapag-Lloyd meldete f\u00fcr das Jahr 2024 gem\u00e4ss dem Bericht einen Gewinn von 2,9 Milliarden US-Dollar.<\/p>\n<h3>Steuerlast der grossen Reedereien niedrig<\/h3>\n<p>Trotz dieser hohen Gewinne bleibt die Steuerlast f\u00fcr die Schifffahrtsunternehmen gem\u00e4ss Opportunity Green verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4ssig gering. Die zehn genannten Unternehmen zahlten im Jahr 2024 5,1 Milliarden US-Dollar an Steuern, was einem effektiven Steuersatz von 11,9 % entspreche. Dieser Wert liege deutlich unter dem globalen Durchschnitt von 21,1 % und auch unter dem von der Organisation f\u00fcr wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (OECD) festgelegten globalen Mindeststeuersatz von 15 %, von dem die internationale Schifffahrt ausgenommen ist. In Deutschland betrug der durchschnittliche Unternehmenssteuersatz im Jahr 2024 27 %, w\u00e4hrend Hapag-Lloyd 9,9 % zahlte, wie das NGO mitteilt.
