Diese Einrichtung ist die erste ihrer Art, die von ShipMonk ausschliesslich auf eine Produktkategorie ausgerichtet ist. Mit einer Fl\u00e4che von 37.000 m\u00b2 und 60 Verladetoren soll das neue Zentrum den besonderen Anforderungen der Bekleidungsbranche gerecht werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Herausforderungen im Bekleidungsfulfillment sind vielf\u00e4ltig. Dazu geh\u00f6ren die Verwaltung von Gr\u00f6ssen- und Stilvariationen sowie die Bearbeitung von R\u00fccksendungen und die Handhabung von Textilien in gro\u00dfem Massstab. Laut Kevin Sides, CEO und Mitgr\u00fcnder von ShipMonk, ist es entscheidend, dass Partner die Komplexit\u00e4t jedes Auftrags verstehen. \u201eUnser Ansatz, der den H\u00e4ndler in den Mittelpunkt stellt, bedeutet, dass wir das Fulfillment so gestalten, wie es die Marken tats\u00e4chlich ben\u00f6tigen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rte Sides.<\/p>\n<h3>Ein Zentrum f\u00fcr spezialisierte L\u00f6sungen<\/h3>\n<p>Das neue Fulfillment-Center dient nicht nur der Auftragsabwicklung, sondern auch als Innovationszentrum f\u00fcr die Entwicklung neuer, bekleidungsspezifischer L\u00f6sungen. Die Infrastruktur und die Arbeitsabl\u00e4ufe sind darauf ausgelegt, den gesamten operativen Lebenszyklus eines Bekleidungsauftrags zu unterst\u00fctzen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren unter anderem optimierte Layouts f\u00fcr eine hohe SKU-Dichte, spezialisierte Empfangsprozesse und innovative R\u00fcckgabeabwicklungen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Einrichtung bietet auch personalisierte Dienstleistungen wie vor Ort durchgef\u00fchrte Stickereien und massgeschneiderte Fulfillment-Services, die unter anderem das Anbringen von Etiketten und das Verpacken in Polybeuteln umfassen. \u201eFulfillment sollte Marken nicht bremsen oder Kompromisse erfordern\u201c, f\u00fcgte Sides hinzu. \u201eWenn es richtig gemacht wird, wird es zu einem Wettbewerbsvorteil.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Erweiterung eines bew\u00e4hrten Netzwerks<\/h3>\n<p>Das neue Zentrum erweitert den bestehenden Standort von ShipMonk in Louisville, der als zentraler Hub f\u00fcr den Versand in die USA dient. Die zentrale Lage erm\u00f6glicht optimierte Versandkosten f\u00fcr eine verteilte Kundenbasis. ShipMonks Campus-Ansatz f\u00f6rdert eine schnellere Einarbeitung neuer Kunden und bietet die Flexibilit\u00e4t, die Kapazit\u00e4t je nach Nachfrage anzupassen. Bei voller Auslastung wird erwartet, dass die Einrichtung etwa 250 Mitarbeiter besch\u00e4ftigt, wobei die meisten Stellen neu geschaffen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Er\u00f6ffnung in Louisville folgt auf ein Jahr des Wachstums und der Investitionen f\u00fcr ShipMonk, das sich auf komplexe Kategorien konzentriert, in denen die Qualit\u00e4t des Fulfillments die Kundenerfahrung beeinflusst.
