Das Schiff wurde von der Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company Limited (SWS) und der China Shipbuilding Trading Company Limited (CSTC) gebaut, die beide zur China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) geh\u00f6ren. Mit der &#8222;Grande Seoul&#8220; erweitert die italienische Reederei ihre Flotte um das neunte Schiff, das f\u00fcr die zuk\u00fcnftige Nutzung von Ammoniak als alternativen, emissionsfreien Kraftstoff vorbereitet ist.<\/p>\n<p>Die &#8222;Grande Seoul&#8220; hat eine L\u00e4nge von 200 m, eine Breite von 38 m und ein Bruttotonnengewicht von etwa 77.500 t. Das Schiff ist f\u00fcr den Transport von Fahrzeugen, einschlie\u00dflich Elektroautos und Fahrzeugen mit herk\u00f6mmlichen Antrieben, sowie anderen rollenden G\u00fctern konzipiert. Es kann bis zu 9.241 Car Equivalent Units (CEU) transportieren und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber vier Decks, die auch schwere Lasten von bis zu 250 t und H\u00f6hen von bis zu 6,5 m aufnehmen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Wie bereits bei ihren Schwesterschiffen, darunter die &#8222;Grande Tianjin&#8220; und die &#8222;Grande Auckland&#8220;, zeichnet sich die &#8222;Grande Seoul&#8220; nicht nur durch ihre hohe Transportkapazit\u00e4t aus, sondern auch durch ihre fortschrittliche Umweltleistung. Der CO\u2082-Emissionsindex pro transportierter Einheit wurde im Vergleich zur vorherigen Generation von PCTC-Schiffen um bis zu 50% gesenkt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Schiff ist mit einem modernen elektronischen Motor ausgestattet, der einen der niedrigsten spezifischen Kraftstoffverbr\u00e4uche in seiner Klasse aufweist und die strengsten internationalen Grenzwerte f\u00fcr CO\u2082-, NOx- und SOx-Emissionen erf\u00fcllt. Zudem erhielt die Grande Seoul die Klassifizierung &#8222;Ammonia Ready&#8220; vom italienischen Schiffsregister RINA, was bedeutet, dass eine Umr\u00fcstung auf Ammoniak als emissionsfreien Kraftstoff in der Zukunft m\u00f6glich ist. W\u00e4hrend des Liegeplatzes kann das Schiff zudem mit Landstrom versorgt werden, was eine umweltfreundliche Alternative zur Nutzung herk\u00f6mmlicher Kraftstoffe im Hafen darstellt.<\/p>\n<p>Mit ihrem Namen ehrt die &#8222;Grande Seoul&#8220; die Hauptstadt S\u00fcdkoreas, die seit 2022 Teil des globalen Netzwerks der Grimaldi Group ist. Das Unternehmen bietet seitdem regelm\u00e4ssige Verbindungen zwischen Europa und S\u00fcdkorea in beide Richtungen an und kann dank eines umfangreichen Netzwerks von \u00fcber 150 H\u00e4fen in 60 L\u00e4ndern S\u00fcdkorea mit den wichtigsten Handelsrouten der Welt verbinden.<\/p>\n<p>In den kommenden Tagen wird die &#8222;Grande Seoul China&#8220; verlassen, um ihre Jungfernfahrt auf der Asien-Europa-Route zu beginnen.
