Damit steigerte der intermodale Netzwerkbetreiber sein Verkehrsvolumen gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr um 4,3%. Trotz schwieriger Rahmenbedingungen konnte das Unternehmen seine Position im europ\u00e4ischen Kombinierten Verkehr und insbesondere auf dem Rhein\u2013Alpen TEN-T-Korridor behaupten.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt bewegte Hupac rund 1.85 Mio. TEU im kontinentalen und maritimen Hinterlandverkehr. Besonders im transalpinen Verkehr durch die Schweiz wuchs das Volumen um 4,5% beziehungsweise 24\u2019100 Sendungen. Zus\u00e4tzliche Mengen auf der Relation Belgien\u2013Italien trugen zu diesem Ergebnis bei.<\/p>\n<p>Die Entwicklung erfolgte jedoch unter anspruchsvollen Bedingungen. Baustellen, Umleitungen und Streckensperrungen belasteten die Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit der Bahninfrastruktur. Besonders einschneidend war die mehrw\u00f6chige Sperrung der Rheintalstrecke im Juni. Dennoch konnte Hupac zus\u00e4tzliche Mengen transportieren.<\/p>\n<p>Auch im laufenden Jahr erwartet das Unternehmen Einschr\u00e4nkungen durch Bauarbeiten. Geplante Sperrungen in Deutschland und Italien werden den Verkehr erneut beeinflussen. Gemeinsam mit Bahnpartnern arbeitet Hupac deshalb an stabilen Umleitungskonzepten und investiert in resilientere Transportangebote.
