Die Umleitung von G\u00fctern, die traditionell durch das Rote Meer und den Suezkanal transportiert wurden, um das Kap der Guten Hoffnung hat die Transitzeiten erheblich verl\u00e4ngert. Dies f\u00fchrte zu steigenden Frachtkosten und unvorhersehbaren Lieferzeiten, die sowohl die Lieferketten als auch die Budgets der Unternehmen belasteten, wie DHL in einer Mitteilung schreibt.<\/p>\n<h3>Wiederer\u00f6ffnung der Schifffahrtsrouten<\/h3>\n<p>Im Februar 2026 gab die Gemini Cooperation die Wiederaufnahme ihres &#8222;ME11-Dienstes&#8220; bekannt. Diese Schifffahrtsroute verbindet den Nahen Osten und Indien mit dem Mittelmeer und wird nun unter Marineschutz durch das Rote Meer und den Suezkanal betrieben. Dies stellt gem\u00e4ss DHL die erste Durchfahrt dieser Art seit den Unterbrechungen dar.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl diese Entwicklung nicht bedeutet, dass der Schiffsverkehr sofort wieder das Niveau von vor 2023 erreichen wird, interpretiert sie DHL dennoch ein Signal f\u00fcr eine m\u00f6gliche Verbesserung der Situation. Die Ver\u00e4nderungen in der Routendynamik k\u00f6nnten sich auf verschiedene Aspekte auswirken, die f\u00fcr kenianische Importeure von Bedeutung sind.
