Sie ersetzt die seit langem verwendete manuelle Schraubenkupplung und automatisiert den bisherigen Kuppelvorgang. Neben der mechanischen und pneumatischen Verbindung der G\u00fcterwagen, die \u00fcber Druckluftleitungen f\u00fcr die Bremsen erfolgt, erm\u00f6glicht die DAK auch die \u00dcbertragung von Strom und Daten.<\/p>\n<p>Die RCG spielt nach eigenen Angaben eine aktive Rolle bei der Entwicklung der DAK. Mit dem &#8222;DAK-Demozug&#8220; wird das System getestet und weiterentwickelt, mit dem Ziel, es zur Serienreife zu bringen. J\u00fcngste Wintertests in \u00d6sterreich haben gem\u00e4ss der RCG gezeigt, dass die Technologie auch unter anspruchsvollen klimatischen Bedingungen zuverl\u00e4ssig funktioniert. Nach technischen Vorbereitungen und der Integration von verschiedenen Kupplungssystemen wurde der &#8222;DAK-Demozug&#8220; in Betrieb genommen. Dieser Testzug dient laut der RCG dazu, das Zusammenspiel von Mechanik, Elektrik und Daten\u00fcbertragung zu \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen und sicherzustellen, dass die Systeme hersteller\u00fcbergreifend
